Striking vintage pottery vase in tones of green and copper and fired using the Raku process. Raku is a Japanese method of pottery making dating back to the 1500s. The clay object is removed from the kiln at the height of firing which causes it to cool very quickly causes unusual results and it's signature black clay. This piece is signed on the bottom "Pat Patterson Waterdown".
In excellent condition, free from chips/cracks.
